About the Richardson RA7910

The RA7910 Select is Richardson's take on a 2-button baseball jersey. The 4.6-ounce 92/8 polyester/spandex fabric is light enough for spring and summer play, with 4-way stretch from the spandex content. Stay-Dri moisture management is Richardson's wicking treatment, which pulls perspiration to the fabric surface for faster evaporation.

The construction details are traditional baseball jersey: set-in sleeves, a 2-button neckline placket with dyed-to-match buttons, white sleeve piping, and back neck tape for clean inside finishing. The Richardson rubber logo sits at the back neck. Available in six standard team colors covering most baseball, softball, and slow-pitch program needs.

For the matching warm-up piece in the same Richardson athletic line, pair with the Richardson Vertex 1/4-Zip Pullover RA7500Q. For a full-button baseball jersey alternative from another brand, the A4 A4N4184 Short Sleeve Full-Button Baseball Top offers a complete button-front placket. For a tougher mesh V-neck baseball jersey, see the Sport-Tek ST221 Tough Mesh V-Neck Baseball Jersey.

FAQ

Why does decoration on baseball jerseys usually use heat transfer or sublimation rather than screen print?
The fabric is the reason. Polyester is dyed with heat-sensitive disperse dyes that can release as gas when reheated. Plastisol screen printing inks typically cure around 320°F, while polyester dyes can begin to sublimate at roughly 265°F. When that happens, the fabric dye bleeds into the printed ink, causing color shift, especially on lighter inks over darker fabric. Most jersey programs use heat transfers, sublimation, or tackle twill to sidestep this entirely. Screen printers who do print polyester typically use low-cure inks, dye-blocker bases, or polyester-formulated whites.

Is this a true on-field baseball jersey or a jersey-style tee?
It's a real baseball jersey with set-in sleeves, a 2-button placket, and traditional construction details, designed for actual baseball, softball, and slow-pitch use rather than as a fashion piece.

Can the Richardson logo patch at the back neck be removed?
The rubber logo patch is permanently bonded. For programs that need a fully unbranded jersey, contact us for available alternatives.

What's the 4-way stretch good for in a baseball jersey?
Throwing motions, swings, and slides involve full ranges of motion at the shoulders and hips. The 8% spandex content lets the fabric move with the body rather than restricting range or stressing seams. Set-in sleeves combined with stretch fabric is the standard performance jersey construction.
