About the Jerzees IC46M
The Jerzees IC46M Ultimate Tee is the short-sleeve companion to the IC46L long-sleeve: it has the same 4.6-ounce 100% ring-spun cotton construction, same classic fit, same clean neckline and shoulder taping, just in a standard short-sleeve format. For programs that need both sleeve lengths from a single consistent blank, the IC46M and IC46L pair naturally without any variation in fabric quality or construction between the two.
The ring-spun cotton construction is noticeably softer than standard open-end cotton alternatives at the same price point, and the seamless 1x1 rib knit collar keeps the neckline clean and consistent across a large run. Heather colorways use a CVC cotton/poly blend to achieve the heathered texture while keeping cotton dominant, with Athletic Heather and Peppered Red Heather using a 90/10 construction for their specific heather requirements. Screen printing and DTG both work cleanly on the ring-spun surface across the full solid and heather color range.

The 29M uses a 50/50 cotton/poly Dri-Power blend with open-end cotton at 5.6 ounces and includes moisture-wicking properties. The IC46M uses 100% ring-spun cotton at 4.6 ounces for a softer, more refined hand feel without performance fabric properties. For programs that prioritize softness and cotton quality, the IC46M is the better choice. For active programs where moisture management matters, the 29M has the advantage.
Is the IC46M good for DTG printing?
Yes. The 100% ring-spun cotton construction is well suited for DTG. Pre-treat as standard and expect clean, vibrant results particularly on lighter and solid colorways.
